Galloway, N.J. – Six Stockton University women's soccer players were recognized with selection to the
NJAC All-Conference teams, led by NJAC First Team midfielder
Sydney Williams (Millville/Millville). Senior
Jessica Heitmann (Rockaway/Morris Knolls) and freshman
Sophia Drea (Medford/Shawnee) were voted NJAC Second Team.
Seniors
Salena LeDonne (Parsippany/Parsippany) and
Susan Porambo (Millersville, Pa./Penn Manor) plus freshman
Emily Hauck (Lebanon, Pa./Northern Lebanon) rounded out the list with NJAC Honorable Mention recognition. The six all-conference players have led Stockton to a 12-5-3 record in a berth in the NJAC Tournament semifinals.
Williams earned her third all-conference honor and second straight NJAC First Team award. She is tied for the league lead with six assists and tied for ninth with five goals for a total of 16 points. Williams tops the Ospreys in all three scoring categories and also has a pair of game-winning goals to her credit. She has scored 14 goals with 10 assists for 38 points in 47 games at Stockton.
Heitmann has had a breakout season for Stockton with four goals and one assist for nine points, all of which are career highs. She has started all 20 games and stands tied for second on the team in goals. Heitmann has contributed two game-winning goals, including the lone tally in a 1-0 victory over Montclair State on October 9.
Drea has had an impressive rookie season on defense, starting all 20 games and contributing to nine shutouts, a statistic in which Stockton is tied for second in the NJAC. The freshman also has scored a pair of goals, including one game-winner, and dished an assist for five points.
LeDonne received her fourth all-conference selection (2018 Second Team, 2019, Spring 2021 First Team, 2021 Honorable Mention). After switching positions from forward to midfield this year, she has scored three goals and one assist for seven points in 14 games played this season. LeDonne ranks 10th in Stockton history 27 goals to go with 11 assists for 65 points in her career.
Porambo added the NJAC Honorable Mention accolade to go with a Second Team nod in Spring 2021. The senior has tallied four goals and one assist for nine points as part of Stockton's balanced offense. Porambo is tied for second on the team in goals. She netted the game-winner in a 1-0 victory over William Paterson on October 23.
Hauck collected all-conference recognition with a stellar rookie season of four goals and four assists for 12 points, second to Williams on the squad. The freshman is tied for sixth in the NJAC in assists. Hauck is one of nine Ospreys to play in all 20 games this season, starting 18 of them, and she has contributed one game-winning goal.
