Alexandria Palumbo (Mantua/Clearview) was named to the
All-ECAC Team in field hockey by the Eastern College Athletic Conference. Palumbo also was an NJAC First Team, NFHCA All-Region IV Second Team and Synapse Sports All-Rookie Team selection this year.
Palumbo scored 10 goals for 20 points, both second on the Ospreys, during a superb freshman season. The rookie became the seventh different Stockton player in program history with a double-digit goal total and also tied for the team lead and fourth in the NJAC with three defensive saves.
Palumbo finished second on the 8-8 Stockton team in shots (51) and shots on goal (29). She exploded in the second half of the season, scoring at least one goal in six of the final seven games and potting the squad's last five goals of the year. Palumbo was named NJAC Rookie of the Week once during the season.
