Galloway, N.J. – After opening the season with a three-game unbeaten streak Stockton University (1-1-2) suffered its first setback as the Ospreys were blanked 1-0 by Rutgers-Camden (3-0). Stockton goalkeeper
Kylee Sullivan (Jackson/Jackson Memorial) made her second straight start and finished with two saves.
Rutgers-Camden outshot the Ospreys by a slim 6-4 margin in the contest.
Susan Porambo (Millersville, Pa./Penn Manor) registered two shots for Stockton, including the team's lone shot on goal.
Alexa Simonetti (Wayne/Wayne Valley) bounced a shot off the crossbar in the 18th minute. Logan Koester netted the only goal of the game in the first half at 29:48 and the Scarlet Raptors made the tally stand up to deal Stockton its first defeat of the season by the 1-0 final.
Stockton will return home to host New Jersey City on Wednesday at 6 p.m.
