Ospreys of the Week
BASEBALL:
Luke Fabrizzi (Old Bridge/Old Bridge) started his Osprey career in fine fashion, batting a team-high .400 with five runs scored and a pair of steals in his first three games. Fabrizzi did not commit an error in 16 chances behind the plate and threw out two of four runners attempting to steal. For his play, he was named NJAC Rookie of the Week.
FIELD HOCKEY:
Kylie Mitchell (Shamong/Seneca) made 19 saves in the two games last week, allowing just one goal. For the season, the freshman ranks second in the NJAC in saves per game (11.00/g), third in save percentage (.868) and fourth in goals against (1.73 gaa).
MEN'S LACROSSE:
Joey Tiernan (Voorhees/Eastern) tied for the team lead with two goals and led the Ospreys with four shots on goal in the season opener against #4 Salisbury.
WOMEN'S LACROSSE: Michell Pascrell (Howell/Freehold Twp.) scored three goals, dished one assist, scooped four ground balls, caused two turnovers, and snagged six draw controls as Stockton won their season opener 12-10 over Kean. Pascrell was named NJAC Player of the Week for the first time in her career.
MEN'S SOCCER:
Antonio Matos (Hammonton/St. Augustine) scored his first career goal against New Jersey City last week. The freshman scored in the second half and provided the insurance tally in the 2-0 win. Matos was named NJAC Rookie of the Week for his efforts.
WOMEN'S SOCCER:
Salena LeDonne (Parsippany/Parsippany) scored the game-winning goal in the second half of Stockton's 1-0 win over William Paterson to end the regular season.
SOFTBALL:
Jenna Patterson (Mullica Hill/Clearview) ripped an RBI double in game two of Stockton's doubleheader at Rowan for her first career hit. The double gave the Ospreys an early 1-0 lead in the first inning.
MEN'S TRACK & FIELD:
Cooper Knorr (Manalapan/Manalapan) won the 3000-meter run at the Stockton Invite with a school-record time of 8:42.93 in. The record that he broke stood for eight years and the win was Knorr's first individual victory in outdoor track and field.
WOMEN'S TRACK & FIELD:
Lauren Preston (Wernersville, Pa./Conrad Weiser) won the women's pole vault by clearing a height of 3.50 meters that ranks seventh in Division III this season. Preston was selected as NJAC Field Athlete of the Week for her efforts.
VOLLEYBALL:
Emily Sullivan (Bridgewater/Bridgewater-Raritan) dished 65 assists (10.83 a/s) in Stockton's two matches last week. The senior led the team to their second consecutive NJAC championship. She also served six aces, had five kills, scooped 12 digs, and tallied two blocks in the final two matches of her career. Sullivan earned her second NJAC Player of the Week honor this season.

Volleyball (7-0)
- Latest Results: Stockton 3, Rutgers-Camden 0; Stockton 3, Montclair State 0.
- Emily Sullivan (Bridgewater-Bridgewater-Raritan) dished 65 assists, scooped 12 digs, spiked five kills served six aces and blocked two attacks in leading Stockton to their second consecutive NJAC championship. Sullivan was selected NJAC Player of the Week for the second time this season.
- Haley Green (Springville, UT/Maple Mountain) led the Ospreys with 24 kills and had two blocks. Â
- Charlotte Leon (Northport, NY/Northport) had 16 and two blocks while Christie Louer (Clifton/Clifton) and Julie Kohlhoff (West Islip, NY/West Islip) had 15 spikes each.
- Sophia Marziello (Haddonfield/Paul VI) tied Grace Brandt (Floral Park, NY/Floral Park) with 18 digs each. Brandt served four aces while Marziello had two aces. Brandt was named NJAC Defensive Player of the Week for the first time in her career.

Men's Soccer (3-2)
- Latest Results: Stockton 2, New Jersey City 0.
- Ervin Gjeli (Hasbrouck Hts./Hasbrouck Hts.) potted the only goal that Stockton would need with 3:32 left in the first half. He was named NJAC Player of the Week for the first time in his career.
- Freshman Antonio Matos (Hammonton/St. Augustine Prep) scored his first career goal in the second half to boost the lead to 2-0. The tally by Matos came with 15:10 remaining and was assisted by Brendan Deal (Monroe Twp./Monroe Twp.). Matos was named NJAC Rookie of the Week for the first time in his career.
- Goalkeeper Dino Gromitsaris (Bordentown/Bordentown) made one save to register his third consecutive shutout. Gromitsaris extended his scoreless streak to 272:49 since he last was beaten for a goal. The senior was named NJAC Defensive Player of the Week for the second time this season and fourth time in his career.

Women's Soccer (2-1-2, 2-1-2 NJAC)
- Latest Results: Stockton 1, William Paterson 0.
- Salena LeDonne (Parsippany/Parsippany) scored the game-winner in the second half with the tally coming in the 62nd minute.
- Goalkeeper Kylee Sullivan (Jackson/Jackson Memorial) needed just one save to record her second shutout in three games played this spring.

Women's Lacrosse (1-0)
- Latest Results: Stockton 12, Kean 10.
- Michelle Pascrell (Howell/Freehold Twp.) led Stockton with a super all-around effort as she totaled three goals and one assist for four points plus six draw controls, four ground balls and two caused turnovers. Pascrell was named as NJAC Player of the Week for her play, her first career selection.
- Allie Bremer (Oakland/Indian Hills) also contributed three goals and an assist to tie Pascrell for the team scoring lead.
- Jennifer Toal (Pine Beach/Toms River South) tossed in three goals while Casey Shultz (Sewell/Washington Twp.) chipped in with one goal, three assists and five ground balls.
- Starting goalkeeper Stevie Ader (Califon/Voorhees) played a total of 37 minutes and earned the win with three saves. Jordan Hawkes (Egg Harbor Twp./EHT) saw 23 minutes of action and made two stops.

- Latest Results: Stockton 7, #14 Kean 5; Stockton 7, #14 Kean 5; Montclair State 7, Stockton 4; Montclair State 10, Stockton 8.

- Marco Meleo (Freehold/Freehold Boro) led the team with seven hits and four RBI while scoring four runs.
- Ryan Mihlebach (Clarksburg/GCIT) drove in three runs while Nick Trifiletti (Linwood/Mainland) and Mike Costanzo (Williamstown/Williamstown) each blasted a home run. Costanzo's homer was his first career round-tripper.
- James Wynne (Howell/Howell) appeared in two games, picking up one of the two wins last week. Wynne did not allow an earned run in three innings of work. Will Kramer (Marlboro/Marlboro) earned the other win for Stockton on the hill.

- Latest Results: No Scoring at the Stockton Invite.
- Cooper Knorr (Manalapan/Manalapan) won the 3000m and broke the eight-year-old school record with a time of 8:42.93. The event win was the first of his career in outdoor track and field.
- Darren Wan (Egg Harbor Twp./EHT) broke the school record in the hammer throw that had stood since 2006 with a heave of 53.09m. Wan finished second in the event.
- Keith Holland (Bayville/Central Regional) won the pole vault (4.65m) followed by teammate Matthew Carter (Mays Landing/Oakcrest) in second place (4.10m).
- Hunter Daly (Florence/Florence) finished second in the high jump (1.95m).

- Lauren Preston (Wernersville, Pa./Conrad Weiser) won the women's pole vault (3.50m), with fellow Ospreys Jeanmarie Harvey (River Edge/River Dell) and freshman Alexa Moore (Toms River/Donovan Catholic) tied for second (3.20m). Preston was named NJAC Field Athlete of the Week for her efforts.
- Susann Foley (Tabernacle/Seneca) won the high jump (1.61m) and Jessie Klenk (Somerdale/Sterling) captured the 1500m (5:08.04).
- Jamie Wun (Moorestown/Moorestown) was the runner-up to Klenk in the 1500m (5:21.22) and freshman Kierstin Clem (Voorhees/Eastern) placed second in the 3000m (11:56.65).

- Tori Wilson (Mays Landing/Cedar Creek) scored her first career goal against Montclair State and gianna Morganti (Berlin/St. Joseph's) picked up the assist on the play

- Joey Tiernan (Voorhees/Eastern) and Eric Ellis (Voorhees/Eastern) topped the Ospreys with two goals apiece.
- Eric D'Arminio (Roxbury/Roxbury) tallied a goal and an assist, with Luc Swedlund (Randolph/Randolph) tallying the other score.
- Eric Lindskog (Montville/Montville) started in goal for Stockton and made six saves in the first half. Freshman goalie Colin Bernstein (Warrington/Central Bucks South) played the second half and recorded 11 saves in his college debut.

- Latest Results: Rowan 8, Stockton 0 (5 inn); Rowan 3, Stockton 1.
- Freshman Jenna Patterson (Mullica Hill/Clearview) knocked her first career hit, an RBI double that scored Meg Murzello (Maple Shade/Holy Cross), who had led off with a walk and stole second.
- Sophomore transfer Gabrielle Barranger (Sicklerville/Haddonfield) also registered her first career hit and Lilly James (Roseland/West Essex) singled once.
- Samantha McErlane (Mount Ephraim/Audubon) limited the Profs to three runs on six hits with no walks and one strikeout.
- Stevie Unger (Tower City, Pa./Williams Valley) came out of the bullpen for a solid college debut in the first game. Unger allowed one run on one hit with one strikeout in two innings of work.

- Latest Results: No Team Scoring vs. Thomas Jefferson University.
- The Stockton varsity eight consisted of Michaela Pope (Collingswood/Collingswood), Emily Culmone (Absecon/Ocean City), Gabrielle Eppright (Swainton/Cape May Tech), Izabelle DelRoss (Egg Harbor City/Cedar Creek), Chloe Schulze (Little Egg Harbor/Pinelands), Caitlyn Fogarty (Jackson/Jackson Memorial), Olivia Hurley (Bayville/Central Regional) and Kayla Bokor (Wayne/Roxbury).
- Lorelei Hendricks (Burlington/Doane Academy) was the coxswain for the varsity eight. Their final time was not recorded in the first race and they finished the second race with a time of 5:19.46.
- Nicole Dube (Newton/Kittatinny), Jamie Dubicki (Hasbrouck Hts./Bergen County Tech), Carrie Alpin (North Hanover/Northern Burlington) and Nadia LoPane (Galloway/Absegami) rowed for the Ospreys in the varsity four.
- Emily Thompson (Manahawkin/Southern Regional) was the coxswain in the first race and Mary-Rose Keane (Watervliet, N.Y./Padua Academy (DE)) took over as coxswain for the second race. Stockton finished in 5:54.69 on its first run and 6:32.38 on the second.
- In the novice eight, Kara Yarrington (Woodstown/Woodstown), Emily Latshaw (Toms River/TR South), Kayla Barrett (Galloway/Absegami), Marcella Sacchetti (Staten Island, N.Y./Absegami (NJ), Amelia Pawlowski (Forked River/Lacey Twp.), Jordan Barikian (Cape May/Lower Cape May) and Laurel Flockhart (Jackson/Jackson Memorial) rowed in both races.
- Allison Reed (Cherry Hill/CH East) and Madelynn Schina (Somerdale/Highland) rowed in one race apiece. Kelley Mason (Manhattan, N.Y./St. Vincent Ferrer) was the coxswain for the novice eight. Their initial race was stopped due to an obstruction on the course. They later completed two races with times of 5:59.04 and 5:49.37.
