Galloway, N.J. – Stockton University (5-1, 5-0 CSAC) remained unbeaten in Colonial States Athletic Conference play with a 31-0 victory over Keystone College (0-6, 0-6 CSAC). Twenty different Ospreys scored goals in the rout.
Luc Swedlund (Randolph/Randolph) led Stockton with five goals and two assists followed by
Erik Anderson (Monroe Twp./Monroe Twp.) with three goals and two assists.
Joey Tiernan (Voorhees/Eastern),
Ryan Anderson (Avon-by-the-Sea/Manasquan),
Myles Ackerson (Hopewell Valley/Hopewell Valley),
Reegan Capozzoli (Wayne/Wayne Valley) and
Colin Hopkins (Springfield/Springfield-Delco) each contributed two goals and an assist.
Eric Ellis (Voorhees/Eastern) also finished with three points on a goal and two assists. Sophomore
Eric Bretz (Clark/Arthur L. Johnson) and freshmen
Aidan Shandley (Springfield/Springfield-Delco) and
George White (Sparks, Md./Hereford) all scored their first career goal.
Freshman
Tyler Horvath (Chalfont, Pa./Central Bucks South) went a perfect 10-10 on faceoffs, scooped a game-high 10 ground balls and scored a goal for the Ospreys.
Stockton potted seven consecutive goals in the opening 6:16, including three by Swedlund and two from Anderson. The Ospreys led 15-0 after one quarter and eased up from there, netting 16 markers over the final three periods.
Freshman goalkeeper
Colin Bernstein (Warrington, Pa./Central Bucks South) made a save in the fourth quarter on the only shot allowed by the Ospreys. Keystone goalie Sam Lepore finished with 19 saves.
Stockton will finish the regular season with a CSAC home game against Bryn Athyn on Wednesday at 4 p.m. The Ospreys already have clinched the No. 1 seed for the CSAC Tournament, which begins next Saturday, May 1.
