Ewing, N.J. – Members of the Stockton University track & field teams competed at the TCNJ Last Chance meet. Most events featured between four and seven competitors who were trying to qualify for upcoming postseason meets or improve their ranking in an event.
Fresh off his sixth NJAC individual title in the pole vault (three outdoor, three indoor),
Keith Holland (Bayville/Central Regional) capitalized on the opportunity. Holland won the pole vault and set a new school record by clearing 4.95 meters to move into fourth in NCAA Division III. The school mark of 4.91 meters by Jake Owens had stood since 2006.
Lauren Preston (Wernersville, Pa./Conrad Weiser) finished second in the women's pole vault (3.52m).
Khristina Washington (Hammonton/Hammonton) qualified for the upcoming AARTFC Championships and finished fourth in the women's long jump (5.20m) with a personal best in her rookie season.
A total of approximately 32 members of the Stockton men's and women's teams who qualified during the season will compete in the AARTFC Championships at St. John Fisher (N.Y.) on May 19-20.
