Stockton Blanks NJCU for Fifth Straight Win

Jersey City, N.J. – Stockton University (5-1-1, 1-0 NJAC) broke the game open with three goals in the second half for a 4-0 victory over New Jersey City (0-3-2, 0-1 NJAC) in the conference opener for both teams. Four different Ospreys scored one goal apiece in the victory.

A pair of freshman combined for the first goal as
Emily Hauck (Lebanon, Pa./Northern Lebanon) scored with eight minutes remaining in the first half with an assist by
Erica Dietz (Galloway/Absegami).

With 6:05 gone in the second half,
Maddie Klein (Hamilton/Steinert) hit the net off an assist by
Heather Bertollo (Hawthorne/Hawthorne) to double the lead to 2-0.

A pair of late tallies gave Stockton some breathing room
Bri Honse (Gainesville, Va./Battlefield) scored with 14:07 remaining and
Rylee Getter (Galloway/Absegami) capped the 4-0 victory by netting her first career goal with 2:39 on the clock.

Stockton goalkeeper
Kylee Sullivan (Jackson/Jackson Memorial) made five saves for her third shutout of the season. Sullivan extended her scoreless streak to 312 minutes since she last allowed a goal.
