Pottstown, Pa. – Stockton University finished fifth in a field at the Ursinus Fall Invitational that included three NCAA Division II squads. The tournament was the first in which the young Stockton program recorded a team score, and three Ospreys broke 100 on the day while the fourth landed right on the number.
Tatum Henry (Galloway/Absegami) tied for 14th out of 31 golfers with an 87 that was just three strokes off her career best.
Brynn Bowman (Ocean City/Ocean City) shot a 94 for the best round of her college career and a tie for 18th place.
Freshman
Ella van Schalkwyk (Haddon Hts./Paul VI) tied for 21st with a 97 in her second college round while
Maggie Brennan (Spring Lake Heights/Manasquan) fired a 100 for 24th place at Ravens Claw Golf Club.
Stockton is scheduled to compete next in the two-day Arcadia Shootout at Golden Oaks Golf Club on Friday and Saturday.
