Stockton Knocks Off Gallaudet 52-35

Galloway, NJ – Stockton University (5-1, 0-1 NJAC) rebounded from their first loss of the year with a 52-35 win over Gallaudet University (0-4) on Saturday afternoon. Adriyana Jennings (Camden/Winslow Twp.) led three Ospreys in double figures, registering her fourth consecutive double-double with 14 points and 13 rebounds, nine on the offensive glass, to lead the Ospreys.

Stockton jumped out early on the Bison, outscoring the visitors 15-4 in the opening period. Five points each by Madison LaRosa (Oceanport/Shore Regional) and Imene Fathi (Wildwood/Wildwood) led the surge.

The Bison rallied a bit in the second period scoring 12 markers, but the home team answered with another 15 points to take a 30-16 halftime lead. Jennings topped the squad with seven points in the quarter.

Gallaudet took the third period 12-10 as Stockton came out of the break slowly, but still held a 40-28 margin. The Ospreys put the game away in the final frame holding the Bison to just seven points in the 52-35 victory.

In addition to Jennings solid night, LaRosa added 12 points while Fathi scored a career-high 11 markers on the evening. Jennings, LaRosa and Emma Morrone (Maywood/Hackensack) all pilfered four steals each.

Gallaudet was led by Cassidy Perry who registered a double-double with a game-high 16 points and pulled down 11 rebounds, while blocking a game-high eight shots.
