Ospreys of the Week
BASEBALL:
Mike Schiattarella (Manahawkin/Southern Regional) tossed the first perfect game in Stockton history with a 14-strikeout gem in a seven-inning game against Western New England. It was just the 24th perfect game in NCAA Division III history. Schiattarella was selected NJAC Pitcher of the Week for the performance.
MEN'S BASKETBALL:
Kyion Flanders (Wildwood/Wildwood) scored 11 points against Christopher Newport as Stockton's season came to an end in the sectional round of the NCAA Tournament. Flanders finished the season with an 11.2 points per game average and 5.2 rebounds per game.
WOMEN'S LACROSSE:
Michelle Pascrell (Howell/Freehold Twp.) scored six goals with three assists for nine points to lead the team in scoring during two games last week. The senior also scooped eight ground balls and grabbed a pair of draw controls.
SOFTBALL:
Lilly James (Roseland/West Essex) batted .353 in the first four games of the season, including a homer and five RBI. The senior posted an OPS of 1.068 in the games and hit safely in all four contests.
WOMEN'S TENNIS:
Sophia Pasquale (Galloway/Holy Spirit) was named NJAC Rookie of the Week after two wins apiece in singles and doubles in the first two matches in Hilton Head, SC. The freshman remained unbeaten in singles (5-0) with 6-1, 6-1 and 6-0, 6-2 scores. She also teamed with
Brynn Bowman for 8-2, 8-1 wins in doubles.

Darren Wan (Egg Harbor Twp./EHT) finished 14th in the weight throw at the NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships. Wan registered a top distance of 17.64 meters, which was the third-best weight throw of his career.

Latest Results: NCAA Tournament - #4 Christopher Newport 93, Stockton 54.
DJ Campbell (Vineland/Vineland) scored a team-high 12 points and finished the season with 618 markers, the second-highest season total in school history (Carl Cochran, 671 points, 1995-96).
Kyion Flanders (Wildwood/Wildwood) also hit double figures with 11 points.
Rynell Lawrence (Millville/Millville) contributed eight markers and a team-high eight rebounds while
Alan Glover (Plymouth Meeting, Pa./Plymouth Whitemarsh) finished with seven points.

Baseball (5-3-1)
Latest Results: Neumann 14, Stockton 10; Stockton 6, Worcester State 3; Western New England 6, Stockton 5; Stockton 9, Western New England 0.
Mike Schiattarella (Manahawkin/Southern) threw a perfect game, the 24th in Division III history and first-ever for Stockton, against Western New England, striking out 14 batters. The junior posted his third complete game and second shutout while lowering his ERA to 0.90. Schiattarella was chosen NJAC Pitcher of the Week for his outing.
John Perrino (Wall/Wall) batted .600 (9-15) with two triples and eight RBI. The senior also scored four runs in the four games.
Jordan Nitti (Hamilton/Steinert) batted .333 (5-15) with two runs and two RBI and is hitting .382 in his rookie season.
Tommy Talbot (Howell/Howell) batted .600 (6-10) with three RBI for the week while
Sam Nieves (South Plainfield/South Plainfield) went 3-4 with a double, triple, two runs and an RBI against Worcester State.
Phil Santa Maria (Absecon/ACIT) came out of the bullpen, whiffed five of the seven batters that he faced against Worcester State and did not allow a hit in 2.1 scoreless innings of work to earn his second win of the season.

Latest Results: No Team Scoring at the NCAA Division III Championships.
Darren Wan (Egg Harbor Twp./EHT) finished 14th in the weight throw at the NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships. Wan registered a top distance of 17.64 meters, which was the third-best weight throw of his career.
Wan entered the NCAA Championships ranked 19th after a school record and personal best of 17.96 meters at the AARTFC Championships last weekend. His best effort of 17.64 meters came on the last of his three attempts, good for 14th in the field of 20 competitors.

Women's Lacrosse (3-2)
Latest Results: Stockton 9, Misericordia 4; Stockton 15, New Paltz 10.

Holly Yannacone (Manahawkin/Southern Regional) led the squad with four assists, while scoring three times. She leads the NJAC with 11 helpers this season.
Mary Meduri (Brigantine/OLMA) scored four goals while
Jennifer Toal (Pine Beach/Toms River South added a pair of goals while scooping seven ground balls and topping the squad with five caused turnovers.
Kylie Evans (Marlton/Cherokee) had a team-high nine ground balls, while causing three turnovers on defense.
Meg Lynch (Glen Rock/Glen Rock) earned her first career win in net against New Paltz, playing the final 30 minutes in the contest.

Elena Nunez (Madrid, Spain/Rye (NY)),
Sophia Pasquale (Galloway/Holy Spirit) and
Audrey van Schalkwyk (Haddon Hts./Paul VI) all went 4-0 on the day with two wins apiece in singles and doubles. Pasquale later was selected NJAC Rookie of the Week.
In singles, Nunez won 6-2, 6-4 and 6-3, 6-2, Pasquale won 6-1, 6-1 and 6-0, 6-1 and van Schalkwyk won 6-3, 6-2 and 7-5, 6-3.
Sarb Devi (Galloway/Absegami) added singles wins by scores of 7-5, 6-3 and 6-4, 1-6, 10-5 in a super-tiebreaker.
Kierstyn Fenimore (Tabernacle/Seneca) notched 6-0, 6-4 and 6-0, 6-4 wins in singles/
Doubles teams of Nunez/van Schalkwyk and Pasquale/
Brynn Bowman (Ocean City/Ocean City) each posted 8-2 victories against Geneseo.
Bowman and Pasquale cruised 8-1 in doubles while Nunez and van Schalkwyk notched an 8-5 conquest versus Webster.

Megan Sears (Oakland/Indian Hills) both cracked their first career homers against Stevens.
Stevie Unger (Tower City, PA/Williams Valley) posted a 2-0 record with a 1.50 ERA and 12 strikeouts in her first 14.0 innings this year.
Samantha McErlane (Mount Ephraim/Audubon) won once and posted a 1.11 ERA in 19.0 innings of work in the circle.
