Ospreys of the Week
BASEBALL:
Dominic Meleo (Freehold/St. Peter's Prep) batted .500 (9-18) with eight runs, five RBI, and his first career home run in five games last week. The senior batted for the cycle against North Park and had two doubles, two triples and a homer among his nine safeties.
MEN'S LACROSSE:
Dante Poli (Doylestown, Pa./Central Bucks South) totaled seven goals and six assists for 13 points in two games last week. Poli tallied 11 points on six goals and five assists as Stockton beat Maritime 24-12. The point total tied for the second highest in a single game in Stockton history. Poli also scored his 100th career goal during the win.
WOMEN'S LACROSSE:
Casey Shultz (Sewell/Washington Twp.) had three goals and an assist against Ursinus to lead the team with four points in Stockton's only game last week. Shultz also grabbed two ground balls.
WOMEN'S ROWING:
Carrie Alpin (North Hanover/Northern Burlington),
Emily Latshaw (Toms River/TR South),
Amber Hartzell (Merchantville/Haddon Hts.),
Jordan Barikian (Cape May/Lower Cape May),
Izabelle DelRoss (Egg Harbor City/Cedar Creek),
Nicole Iatarola (Sewell/Washington Twp.),
Madelynn Schina (Somerdale/Highland) and
Emily Culmone (Absecon/Ocean City) rowed in the varsity eight against Rollins college, a Division II school.
Lorelei Hendricks (Burlington/Doane Academy) was the coxswain.
SOFTBALL:
Vanessa Tancini (Levittown, Pa./Harry S. Truman) batted .667 (12-18) with eight runs, four RBI and a perfect 8-8 on stolen bases in eight games last week. Tancini rapped at least two hits in five of the eight contests.
WOMEN'S TENNIS:
Audrey van Schalkwyk (Haddon Heights/Paul VI) won twice at singles, dropping just one game in the process, and also went a perfect 3-0 doubles in three matches last week. The junior teamed with
Elena Nunez for the doubles wins.

Men's Lacrosse (3-2)
- Latest Results: Ursinus 13, Stockton 7; Stockton 24, Maritime 12.
- Dante Poli (Doylestown, Pa./Central Bucks South) led the team with 13 points (7 g, 6 a), including an 11-point effort (6 g, 5 a) against Maritime. The 11 points tied for second in a single game at Stockton and was one off the school record. Poli also netted his 100th career goal in the win.
- Luc Swedlund (Randolph/Randolph) scored eight goals to lead the squad, including six against Maritime.
- Reegan Capozzoli (Wayne/Wayne Valley) scored six goals with three helpers for nine points in the two games.
- Tyler Horvath (Chalfont, Pa./Central Bucks South) had a great week, winning 22-34 faceoffs for a .676 winning percentage and leading the team with 11 ground balls. Horvath also scored his first goal of the year against Maritime.
- Logan Holleritter (Oak Ridge/Jefferson Twp.) led the defense with nine ground balls and added two caused turnovers.
- Eric Lindskog (Montville/Montville) made 21 saves in the two games, with 12 coming against Ursinus.

- Latest Results: Clermont, FL – Stockton 14, Plattsburgh State 3; College of Wooster 9, Stockton 5; #25 Millikin University 10, Stockton 0; Wisconsin-La Crosse 6, Stockton 3; Stockton 3, Mt. St Mary (NY) 0; Stockton 15, NYU 4; Stockton 10, Bowdoin 8; Utica 8, Stockton 5.

- Lilly James (Roseland/West Essex), freshman Charli Czaczkowski (Jackson/Jackson Memorial) and Jenna Patterson (Mullica Hill/Clearview) all had six RBI with James scoring a team-high nine runs.
- Stevie Unger (Tower City, Pa./Williams Valley) posted a 2-0 record with a 2.47 ERA and 15 strikeouts in 22.2 innings.

- Latest Results: Auburndale, FL - Stockton 12, Stevenson 9; NYU 11, Stockton 6; SUNY Brockport 11, Stockton 0; Stockton 26, North Park 8; University of Wisconsin-Superior 4, Stockton 3.

- Mike Schiattarella (Manahawkin/Southern) lowered his NJAC-leading ERA to 0.67 with a seven-inning, five-strikeout performance against Wisconsin-Superior. Schiattarella allowed his first hit in 13.2 innings and has a 15-inning scoreless streak currently.
- Thomas Elgrim (Fair Haven/Rumson-Fair Haven) batted .450 (9-20) with nine RBI to top the squad. The freshman scored five runs and tied Meleo with a pair of triples for the week.
- Fellow frosh Jordan Nitti (Hamilton/Steinert) batted .421 with six RBI that included his first career home run.
- Aaron Winsker (Baltimore, MD/Hereford) and Chris Gonzalez (Hazlet/Raritan) earned the two wins in Florida for Stockton. For the freshman Gonzalez, it was his first career win and came against Stevenson.

- Latest Results: Hilton Head, SC - Stockton 6, Principia 3; Stockton 9, Shepherd University 0; College of Wooster 8, Stockton 1.
- Elena Nunez (Madrid, Spain/Rye (NY)), Sophia Pasquale (Galloway/Holy Spirit), Kierstyn Fenimore (Tabernacle/Seneca) and Audrey van Schalkwyk (Haddon Hts./Paul VI) all won two of their three singles matches for the week.
- The doubles team of Nunez/van Schalkwyk posted a perfect 3-0 record, with Pasquale/Brynn Bowman (Ocean City/Ocean City) winning two of their three doubles contests.

- Casey Shultz (Sewell/Washington Twp.) led five Ospreys with multiple goals with three goals plus one assist on the evening.
- Jennifer Toal (Pine Beach/Toms River South), Nikki Owen (Brick/Brick Memorial), Michelle Pascrell (Howell/Freehold/Twp.) and Holly Yannacone (Manahawkin/Southern Regional) scored two goals each, with Toal also dishing one helper.
- Jordan Hawkes played 39:16 making four saves but took the loss in net. Daniela Elliot saw 20:44 of action in net for the Ospreys.

- The coxswain was Lorelei Hendricks (Burlington/Doane Academy) and varsity eight posted a time of 7:37.2 in a strong performance against a Rollins boat that finished in 7:23.4.
- Hartzell and Iatarola joined Alexandra Kazan (Vineland/OLMA), Allison Cook (Mickleton/Kingsway), Kimberly Canelas (Galloway/ACIT), Allison Reed (Cherry Hill/CH East), Melanie Naphy (Somerdale/Sterling) and Katie Kurtz (Galloway/Cedar Creek) in the novice eight.
- Kelley Mason (Manhattan, N.Y./St. Vincent Ferrer) was the coxswain for the novice eight that registered a time of 8:50.3 in their first race as a unit. Rollins won the novice eight race in 7:36.6 followed by Tampa at 7:43.8.
