Ospreys of the Week
BASEBALL:
Jordan Nitti (Hamilton/Steinert) batted .500 (6-12) in the three games last week. The rookie also had his first two career RBI and earned his first career NJAC Rookie of the Week honor for his play. Nitti is hitting a robust .421 for the season thus far.
MEN'S BASKETBALL:
DJ Campbell (Vineland/Vineland) averaged 30.5 points per game as Stockton moved into the sectional round of the NCAA Tournament with two wins. The junior scored a career-high 33 points against Wilson College before positing a 28-point effort against #10 Johns Hopkins that included his 1,000th career point. Campbell was named NJAC Player of the Week for the second time this season.
MEN'S LACROSSE:
Luc Swedlund (Randolph/Randolph) scored a game-high six goals, including the 200th of his career, in a 12-9 win over Washington College (Md.). Swedlund, Stockton's career goal-scoring leader, is the first Osprey to eclipse the 200-goal mark. Swedlund was chosen CSAC Player of the Week for his performance in Stockton's only game last week.
WOMEN'S LACROSSE:
Jennifer Toal (Pine Beach/Toms River South) filled the stat sheet last week and was named as NJAC Defensive Player of the Week for the second time in her career. Toal scored eight goals with two assists for 10 points, then backed that up with 11 ground balls, eight draw controls and tied for team high with three caused turnovers.
MEN'S TRACK & FIELD:
Darren Wan (Egg Harbor Twp./EHT) broke his own school record and finished third out of 30 in the weight throw (17.96m) at the All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Championships. Wan's throw ranks 19th in NCAA Division III this season and he earned a spot in the NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships with his school record throw.
WOMEN'S TRACK & FIELD:
Susann Foley (Tabernacle/Seneca) won her second career All-Atlantic Region Track & Field championship in the high jump, tying her personal best of 1.65m. The leap bested 23 other jumpers and set the facility record at Nazareth College.

Men's Basketball (26-4)
- Latest Results: NCAA Tournament - Stockton 87, Wilson College 52; Stockton 70, #10 Johns Hopkins 63.
- DJ Campbell (Vineland/Vineland) averaged 30.5 points in the two games, including a career-high 33 markers against Wilson College. The junior added 28 points against Johns Hopkins, hitting the 1,000-point plateau, and sealed the win with a perfect 4-4 from the foul line at the end of the contest. Campbell also topped the team in rebounding (8.5 rpg) and pilfered five steals. He was selected as NJAC Player of the Week for the second time this season.
- Kadian Dawkins (Eastampton/Rancocas Valley) averaged 16.0 points and dished a team-high 12 assists (6.0 apg) in the two wins. He shot .579 (11-19) from the field to lead the team, with a 6.0 rebound average. Dawkins posted his first career double-double with 17 points and 10 assists, one off his career-best, against Wilson College.
- Jonathan Azoroh (Ewing/Ewing) averaged 7.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, swiped three steals and shot 5-11 (.455) in the two games. Rynell Lawrence (Millville/Millville) also averaged 7.0 points and 5.0 rebounds per game.

Baseball (3-1-1)
- Latest Results: Stockton 6, Alvernia 6 (darkness after 9 inn.); Stockton 4, Castleton 3 (9 inn); Castleton 2, Stockton 0.
- Jordan Nitti (Hamilton/Steinert) led the Ospreys in hitting (.500) and hits (6) last week. The freshman also drove in the first two runs of his career. Nitti earned his first NJAC Rookie of the Week honor for his play.
- John Perrino (Wall/Wall) batted .444 (4-9) and topped the squad with three runs scored, slugged .615 and had an on base percentage of .556, also leading the team.
- Tommy Talbot (Howell/Howell) batted .455 with five hits, including four in the twinbill against Castleton.
- Freshman Thomas Elgrim (Rumson/Rumson-Fair Haven) picked up his first career hit and RBI when he drove in the winning run in the 4-3 victory over Castleton in the first game of the doubleheader.
- Mike Schiattarella (Manahawkin/Southern) continued his dominant pitching with a complete game, 11-strikeout performance against Castleton. Schiattarella has fanned 24 hitters in only 13 innings thus far, allowing just two walks.

Men's Lacrosse (2-1)
- Latest Results: Stockton 12, Washington College (Md.) 9.
- Luc Swedlund (Randolph/Randolph) became the first Osprey ever to reach 200 career goals, as he pumped in six of Stockton's 12 goals in the game. Swedlund was selected CSAC Player of the Week.
- Dante Poli (Doylestown, Pa./Central Bucks South) contributed two goals and four assists for six points followed by Eric D'Arminio (Roxbury/Roxbury) with two goals and two assists.
- Stockton goalkeeper Eric Lindskog (Montville/Montville) stopped 11 of the 20 shots on goal that he faced for a solid .550 save percentage in earning the win.
- Defender Jared Long (Bound Brook/Bridgewater-Raritan) tied for game-high honors with three caused turnovers.
- Upcoming Games: March 12 at Catholic University (2 pm).

Men's Track & Field
- Latest Results: Tied-14th at AARTFC Championships.

- Keith Holland (Bayville/Central Regional) placed third out of 13 in the pole vault (4.71m).
- Erik Ackerman (Long Valley/West Morris Central), Colin Hueston (Metuchen/Metuchen), Clayton Engle (Jackson/Jackson Memorial) and Cooper Knorr (Manalapan/Manalapan) finished fourth out of 14 in the distance medley relay (10:29.60). Ackerman also was sixth out of 21 in the mile (4:16.79).
- Â Carson Latham (Bordentown/Bordentown) placed fifth out of 19 in the 200m and joined Devante Greene (Pennsauken/Pennsauken), Ryan Fisher (Barnegat/Barnegat) and Dontay Turner (Mays Landing/Oakcrest) for eighth place in the 4x200 relay (1:33.62).

Women's Track & Field
- Latest Results: Tied-9th at AARTFC Championships.
- Susann Foley (Tabernacle/Seneca) won her second career AARTFC championship in the high jump (1.65m). Her leap tied her personal best and set the facility record at Nazareth College.
- Shahyan Abraham (Orange/Orange) finished sixth out of 27 in the women's weight throw (15.61m) and 11th out of 28 in the shot put (11.70m).
- Olivia Harris (Sammamish, Wash./Eastlake), Lauren Maldonado (Egg Harbor Twp./EHT), Jessie Klenk (Somerdale/Sterling) and Marlee Tharp (Tuckerton/Pinelands) were eighth in the distance medley relay (12:58.42).
- Upcoming meets: Indoor Season Finished.

Women's Lacrosse (1-2)
- Latest Results: Stockton 20, Bridgewater College 7; Drew 16, Stockton 15.
- Jennifer Toal (Pine Beach/Toms River South) filled the stat sheet with eight goals and two assists for 10 points. She added a team-high 11 ground balls, tied for team honors with three caused turnovers and grabbed eight draw controls. Toal picked up her second career NJAC Defensive Player of the Week nod for her play.
- Mary Meduri (Brigantine/OLMA) scored six goals against Bridgewater and has nine markers in her first season at Stockton.
- Michelle Pascrell (Howell/Freehold Twp.) scored seven goals and led the team with 15 draw controls, scooped eight ground balls and tied for the team lead with three caused turnovers. Her 10 draw controls against Bridgewater were just one off the school record.
- Holly Yannacone (Manahawkin/Southern Regional) led the squad with six assists while also scoring three times for nine points.
- Jordan Hawkes (Egg Harbor Twp./EHT) and Daniela Elliott (Wayne/Wayne Valley) split time in net with Hawkes making seven saves and Elliot kicking out five shots.
- Upcoming Games: March 8 HOME vs. Misericordia (3 pm); March 12 HOME vs. New Paltz (1 pm).
