Galloway, N.J. – Stockton University hosted New Jersey City in a dual match on the Pines course at Seaview Golf Club. The Ospreys posted a team score of 417 and NJCU did not have the necessary four golfers required for a team total.
Ella van Schalkwyk (Haddon Hts./Paul VI) played the top round in the field of eight with a career-best 92, highlighted by a 43 on the par-35 back nine. van Schalkwyk made four pars on the day.
Tamara Farrow (Cape May Court House/Middle Twp.) also recorded her best college score with a 105 for second place. Farrow was consistent, with a 53 on the front nine and a 52 on the back.
Brynn Bowman (Ocean City/Ocean City) went 54-53 for a 107 that was the third-best round of event.
Maggie Brennan (Spring Lake Hts./Manasquan) tied for fourth with a 113 to complete Stockton's team total of 417.
Serena Su (Atlantic City/Atlantic City) and
Lexi Hughes (Galloway/Absegami) also competed for Stockton, shooting 124 and 130 respectively. NJCU's two players were Destiny Duhaney with a 113 and Elizabeth Bello with a 124.
Stockton will play in the Monmouth Spring Invitational at Eagle Ridge GC in Lakewood, N.J. on Thursday.
