Mahwah, N.J. – Stockton University (11-3, 4-2 NJAC) finished the 2021-22 regular season with a 9-0 sweep of Ramapo (3-8, 1-5 NJAC). With the win, the Ospreys earned the No. 3 seed for the upcoming NJAC Tournament.
 
Sophia Pasquale (Galloway/Holy Spirit) and Kierstyn Fenimore (Tabernacle/Seneca) led the way in doubles with an 8-0 shutout. Lily Muir (Robbinsville/Robbinsville) and Sarb Devi (Galloway/Absegami) added an 8-2 victory.
 
Elena Nunez (Madrid, Spain/Rye (N.Y.)) and Audrey van Schalkwyk (Haddon Hts./Paul VI) edged their opponents 8-6 as Stockton jumped out to a 3-0 lead entering singles play.
 
Nunez blanked her opponent 6-0, 6-0 in singles. Pasquale and van Schalkwyk each contributed 6-1, 6-0 wins. Muir breezed to a 6-2, 6-1 triumph and Fenimore prevailed in the closest of the six singles matchups 7-6, 6-3. Devi won her first set 6-1 before her foe retired as the Ospreys swept Ramapo 9-0.
 
Stockton will play an NJAC Tournament semifinal at New Jersey City on Wednesday at 2 p.m.
