Bryn Athyn, Pa. – Stockton University (13-2, 6-0 CSAC) rolled to a 28-2 victory over Bryn Athyn (1-8, 1-4 CSAC) that was the 11th consecutive win for the Ospreys. Stockton completed its conference schedule undefeated in CSAC games.
Luc Swedlund (Randolph/Randolph) led a group of 15 different goal scorers for Stockton with five tallies plus one assist.
Dante Poli (Doylestown, Pa./Central Bucks South) registered three goals and two assists for five points.
Reegan Capozzoli (Wayne/Wayne Valley),
Brendan McHale (Montville/Montville) and
Patrick Dunleavy (Medford/Bishop Eustace) each scored three times followed by
Aidan Shandley (Springfield, Pa./Springfield-Delco) with two goals.
Robbie O'Brien (Springfield, Pa./Springfield-Delco) contributed a goal and two assists while fellow rookie
Anthony Ferreira (Clark/Arthur L. Johnson) netted his first career goal.
Stanley Kolimago (Lansdale, Pa./Methacton) and
Noam Levy-Smith (Margate/Ocean City) each added a goal and an assist.
Hayden Smallwood (Margate/Ocean City),
Chase Mendyk (Cape May/Lower Cape May),
Jake Waltz (Mickleton/Kingsway),
Jackson Tilves (Mt. Olive/Mt. Olive) and
Nick Grande (Hunterdon/North Hunterdon) scored one goal apiece as well.
Poli sparked Stockton to a 6-0 lead in the first quarter with two goals and an assist. Swedlund found the net three times in the second period as the Ospreys extended the advantage to a commanding 15-0 at the half on the way to the 28-2 triumph.
Stockton will finish the regular season with a road game at Eastern University tomorrow at 4 p.m. and then the Ospreys will be the No. 1 seed for the CSAC Tournament next week.
