Elverson, Pa. – Stockton University concluded a busy stretch of golf that totaled four rounds in five days by playing in the Ursinus Spring Invitational at Stonewall Golf Club. The Ospreys finished sixth out of six scoring teams with 426 strokes.
Maggie Brennan (Spring Lake Hts./Manasquan) shot the low round for Stockton for the second straight day as she carded a 101 that was good for 23rd place in a very competitive field in which nearly half of the players, 15 of 32, shot 95 or better.
Ella van Schalkwyk (Haddon Hts./Paul VI) was one stroke back with a 102 that resulted in a tie for 24th.
Tamara Farrow (Cape May Court House/Middle Twp.) shot a career-best 108 and finished in a tie for 28th while
Brynn Bowman (Ocean City/Ocean City) recorded a 115 and placed 32nd for the Ospreys.
Stockton will have a week off before hosting a dual match against New Jersey City on the Pines Course at Seaview Golf Club next Tuesday, April 12 at 1:30 p.m.
