Occoquan Va. – Stockton University returned to action for its first regatta in three weeks by competing in the Mid-Atlantic Rowing Conference Championships. The Ospreys rowed in two events, the varsity eight and varsity four.

Emily Culmone (Absecon/Ocean City) rowed in the varsity eight.
Lorelei Hendricks (Burlington/Doane Academy) was the coxswain for the Stockton eight. The Ospreys finished third in their morning heat of four with a time of 7:18.1 to advance to the grand final, which was the last event of the regatta. Stockton rowed 7:30.6 in the grand final and placed sixth.

Jordan Barikian (Cape May/Lower Cape May) and
Katie Kurtz (Galloway/Absegami) rowed in the varsity four, with
Kelley Mason (Manhattan, N.Y./St. Vincent Ferrer) serving as the coxswain.
In the morning, the Osprey four finished second in its heat of four teams with a time of 8:46.3 to earn a spot in the grand final. Stockton posted a time of 8:59.4 in the final and finished fifth out of six squads.
Stockton is scheduled to compete in the famous Dad Vail Regatta in Philadelphia on May 13.
