Galloway, N.J. – Stockton University (16-2) scored six goals in the first seven minutes and defeated Montclair State (12-5) by a 25-8 score to win the program's second Colonial States Athletic Conference championship. With the victory, the Ospreys earned an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
Luc Swedlund (Randolph/Randolph) led the Ospreys with seven goals and was named MVP of the CSAC championship game for the second time (2022, 2019).
Dante Poli (Doylestown, Pa./Central Bucks South) tallied three goals and six assists for a game-high nine points.
Swedlund got the home team off and running with two goals in a span of 11 seconds to give Stockton a quick 2-0 lead at 13:30 of the first period. He added two more tallies, with
Sean Haddock (Hightstown/Hightstown) scoring three times in an 11-1 first period for Stockton.
The Ospreys tallied six more markers in the second frame for an insurmountable 17-2 margin at the half. Swedlund added two more to his total, with Haddock garnering his fourth goal of the game during the second period.
The Red Hawks scored twice to begin the third quarter, but Stockton answered with five markers, led by two from Poli, for a 22-5 advantage after three periods. The final stanza saw both teams use their bench to set the final score at 25-8 in favor of Stockton.
Haddock dished two assists to go with his four goals for six points, with
Reegan Capozzoli (Wayne/Wayne Valley) hitting the net four times and dishing one assist for five points.
Ryan Anderson (Avon-by-the-Sea/Manasquan) dished three helpers to aid the offense.
Tyler Horvath (Chalfont, Pa./Central Bucks South) was 19-28 (.678) on faceoffs and scooped a game-high 10 ground balls. Horvath also scored two goals.
Logan Holleritter (Oak Ridge/Jefferson Twp.) led all players with three caused turnovers and grabbed six ground balls for the Ospreys.

Eric Lindskog (Montville/Montville) made five saves while playing the first three periods, before giving way to
Matt Rotola (Randolph/Randolph), who made four saves in 9:10.
Colin Bernstein (Warrington, Pa./Central Bucks South) played the last 5:50 in net.
Stockton won their 14th game in a row, the longest winning streak in program history, and the Ospreys scored 20 or more goals for the eighth straight game. The Ospreys played in their third consecutive CSAC championship game and won their second conference title (2019, 2022).
Mike McCreery and Matt Dancsecs scored two goals each for the Red Hawks, with Tyler McCreery dishing two assists. Netminder David Metzger kicked out 10 shots for Montclair State.
