Mahwah, N.J. – Stockton University (12-3, 2-1 NJAC) extended its current winning streak to three with a 3-1 victory on the road at Ramapo College (3-9, 0-2 NJAC). With their 12th win of the season, the Ospreys tied the third-highest total in program history.
Kirsten Bailey (Burlington Twp./Burlington Twp.) scored two goals and
Ameera Bilgrami (Voorhees/Eastern Regional) chipped in a goal and an assist. Stockton outshot the Roadrunners 26-4, including 21 shots on goal.
Bailey got the scoring started by potting an unassisted goal with 2:49 left in the first quarter but Ramapo's Morgan Trotter tied the game just 50 seconds later. Bailey struck for her second marker of the game and 10th of the season with an assist by Bilgrami on a penalty corner in the second period.
Bailey's goal gave Stockton the lead for good and wound up as the game-winner. Bilgrami capped the 3-1 triumph by scoring with an assist by
Carlee Thompson (Gibbsboro/Eastern Regional) on a penalty corner with 12 seconds remaining in the game.

Hannah Ayari-Dias (North Caldwell/West Essex) earned the victory with one save. Michelle Kukan finished with 16 stops for Ramapo.
Stockton will host The College of New Jersey on Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. The Lions are ranked 17th in the National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division III poll.
