Philadelphia, Pa. – Stockton University finished up its fall schedule of two regattas with four Osprey crews rowing in the Head of the Schuylkill. Three eights and one four rowed for Stockton, with the team competing in the Division III group.
 
The varsity eight finished fifth out of 10 with a time of 14:48.839 under the direction of coxswain Lorie Hendricks (Burlington/Doane Academy). Emily Latshaw (Toms River/TR South), Amber Hartzell (Merchantville/Haddon Hts.), Marissa Martinelli (Burlington/Burlington Twp.), and Madelynn Schina (Somerdale/Highland) were half of the varsity eight.
 
The front of the boat consisted of Ashley Truesdell (Pennington/Hopewell Valley), Lexi Kripetz (Clinton/Voorhees), Emily Little (Wildwood/Wildwood) and Megan Baldwin (Brigantine/Holy Spirit). The second varsity eight also competed in the same group, placing ninth at 15:10.577.
 
A quartet of seniors, Latshaw, Hartzell, Schina and Jordan Barikian (Cape May/Lower Cape May) finished seventh out of 13 Division III teams in the varsity four with a time of 17:25.366. Kelley Mason (Manhattan, N.Y./St. Vincent Ferrer) was the coxswain for the varsity four.
 
The Stockton novice eight posted a time of 16:16.551 and finished second out of four with nine newcomers competing for the Ospreys. Jessica Birtwistle (Bayonne/Bayonne) was the coxswain for the novice eight.
 
Breanna Blisard (Galloway/Cedar Creek), Danielle Weidner (Brigantine/Ocean City), Angelina Bell (Egg Harbor Twp./EHT), Brooke Leaver (East Windsor/Hightstown), Ellen Hartshaw (Lehighton, Pa./King's Christian), Alyssa Dowd (Budd Lake/Mt. Olive), Emily Schadt (Westampton/Rancocas Valley) and Jayne Seitz (Cape May CH/Cape May Tech) rowed in the novice eight.
 
Stockton will resume competing in the spring semester for the bulk of its season.
