Galloway, N.J. – Thirteen of the 24 players on the Stockton University field hockey team qualified for the
NFHCA Division III National Academic Squad by posting cumulative grade point averages of 3.50 or higher through the Fall 2022 semester. The 13 Ospreys were among over 1,700 qualifiers from 157 Division III teams that were recognized by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association.
The list of Osprey qualifiers was topped by seniors
Isabella Ceraso (Marlton/Cherokee),
Rhian Freire (Mays Landing/Cedar Creek) and
Kelly Mollahan (Boonton/Boonton), who were part of 277 players in the nation who made the NFHCA Division III National Academic Squad for the fourth straight year.
Juniors
Kylie Mitchell (Shamong/Seneca) and
Jenna Fiorito (East Greenville, Pa./Upper Perkiomen) earned the honor for the third time in their careers, with sophomore
Dakota Ludman (Cape May CH/Middle Twp.) collecting her second straight selection.
Six freshmen and one junior earned a place on the National Academic Squad for their first time. Junior
Hannah McKensie (Mays Landing/Cedar Creek) qualified in her first season at Stockton after transferring from Pace University
Miana Alessandroni (Cinnaminson/Cinnaminson),
MaKenzie Baggstrom (Mays Landing/Cedar Creek),
Elizabeth Connors (Marlboro/Colts Neck),
Alyssa Greiner (Pottstown, Pa./Owen J. Roberts),
Emilee Kates (Pilesgrove/Woodstown) and
Elizabeth Rafferty (Morrisville, Pa./Pennsbury) were the six rookie honorees for Stockton.
