Swarthmore, Pa. – Stockton University (5-2) entered its game at Swarthmore (5-1) on a three-game winning streak but was unable to extend the run as the Ospreys fell 15-11. Stockton led by two at the half but was outscored 7-1 in the third quarter.
Dante Poli (Doylestown, Pa./Central Bucks South) led the offense with three goals and two assists.
Sean Haddock (East Windsor/Hightstown) scored twice and
Ryan Anderson (Avon-by-the-Sea/Manasquan) contributed a goal and two assists.
Stockton led 3-2 after one quarter on consecutive goals by Poli, Haddock and
Luc Swedlund (Randolph/Randolph). After falling behind 5-4 in the second period, the Ospreys jumped ahead 7-5 on markers by
Hayden Smallwood (Margate/Ocean City),
Reegan Capozzoli (Wayne/Wayne Valley) and Haddock in a span of 2:30.
Swarthmore reeled off six unanswered goals in the third quarter before
David Jagiello (Oak Ridge/Pope John XXIII) halted the run and made it 11-8. Stockton got within two goals twice in the fourth stanza but went scoreless for the last nine minutes and suffered the 15-11 setback.

Colin Bernstein (Warrington/Central Bucks South) made 16 saves as Stockton was outshot 54-30. Carter Straugh paced Swarthmore with six goals and two assists. Garnet goalie Shane Nachshen made 10 saves in the game.
Stockton will play its next two games at home, starting with a matchup against Oswego State on Saturday at noon.
