DJ Campbell (Vineland/Vineland) was named to the All-ECAC First Team and senior
Kyion Flanders (Wildwood/Wildwood) was chosen to the All-ECAC Second Team by the
Eastern College Athletic Conference for the 2022-23 season.
Campbell and Flanders received the honors for the second straight year after leading Stockton to a 24-6 record and their second consecutive NCAA Sweet 16 berth.
Campbell added the All-ECAC First Team nod to NABC District 4 Second Team, D3hoops.com All-Region 4 Second Team and NJAC First Team kudos.
Campbell finished in the top 25 in NCAA Division III in five categories. He was eighth in three-pointers (84), ninth in three-point attempts (232), 13th in field goal attempts (450), 18th in free throws (132) and 24th in steals (64).
Campbell finished second in the NJAC in scoring (18.7 ppg), free throw percentage (.852), three-point field goal percentage (.362) and three-pointers (2.8/game). He also placed third in the conference in minutes (33.4 mpg), tied for third in steals (2.1 spg) and seventh in blocked shots (0.7 bpg).
Campbell's 562 points and 84 three-pointers were the fifth highest season totals in Stockton history. He moved into third all-time at Stockton in scoring (1,630 points), second in three-pointers (250), one shy of the school-record 251 by Carl Cochran (1993-97), plus fifth in steals (186).
Flanders collected NJAC Co-Defensive Player of the Year and NJAC Second Team accolades prior to the All-ECAC Second Team recognition. He became the first Osprey ever to repeat as NJAC Defensive Player of the Year.
Flanders finished second on the team in scoring (12.0 ppg), three-pointers (67) and steals (1.5 spg) and also averaged 4.6 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game while starting all 30 contests for the Ospreys. He finished fifth in the NJAC in minutes (32.8 mpg) and sixth in three-pointers (2.2/game).
Flanders scored in double digits in 18 games, including eight in a row to end the season. He finished his outstanding career ninth in Stockton history in scoring with 1,294 career points as well as tied for third with 204 steals, fifth with 187 three-pointers and 10th with 239 assists.
