Galloway, N.J. – Stockton University (10-3, 3-1 NJAC) won every match against Ramapo College (5-7, 1-2 NJAC) for its third consecutive 9-0 victory. The Ospreys took all six singles matches in straight sets, with one set going to a tiebreaker.
Carlee Cristella (Mantua/Clearview) and
Audrey van Schalkwyk (Haddon Hts./Paul VI) breezed to an 8-2 doubles triumph.
Lily Muir (Robbinsville/Robbinsville) and
Sophia Pasquale (Galloway/Holy Spirit) won 8-3 while
Brynn Bowman (Ocean City/Ocean City) and
Kierstyn Fenimore (Tabernacle/Seneca) also prevailed by that score.
Pasquale and van Schalkwyk each won singles matches with 6-0, 6-0 shutouts. Cristella and Fenimore contributed 6-1, 6-0 victories. Bowman topped her opponent 6-1, 6-3 and Muir won the closest singles match of the day 7-6 (7-4), 6-2.
After two straight home matches, Stockton will go on the road on Saturday for an NJAC contest at Rutgers-Camden beginning at noon.
