Jersey City, N.J. - Stockton University (15-13, 7-3 NJAC) collected its third straight doubleheader sweep as the Ospreys downed New Jersey City (10-16, 1-9) 3-2 and 10-2 in five innings to extend their winning streak to six games.

Nerina Tramp (Blackwood/Highland) was the winning pitcher in each game and
Lilly James (Roseland/West Essex) had five hits in the twinbill.

James went 2-4 with a double and
Charli Czaczkowski (Jackson/Jackson Memorial) was 2-3 with a home run in the first game.
Kayla Posten (Cherry Hill/CH West) ripped a triple and scored once.

NJCU jumped ahead 2-0 in the first inning and Stockton trailed until the fourth stanza. Posten tripled and scored on a throwing error on the play.
Vanessa Tancini (Levittown, Pa./Harry S. Truman) raced home with the tying run on a wild pitch for a 2-2 deadlock.

Czaczkowski broke the tie with her fourth home run of the season in the fifth inning, a solo shot that proved to be the difference in the 3-2 triumph.
Abigail Tunney (Mays Landing/Oakcrest) pitched two scoreless innings and then Tramp hurled four scoreless frames with nine strikeouts for the win.

James went 3-4 with a triple, two runs and two RBI in the nightcap. Czaczkowski was 2-2 with two runs, one RBI and one walk.

NJCU scored once in the first inning before Stockton took control.
Madison Kelly (Franklinville/Delsea) plated Posten with the tying run on an RBI single in the second frame and the Ospreys broke the game open on two-run doubles by
Michaela Luyber (Bordentown/Bordentown) and Tancini in the third inning.

Stockton tacked on five runs in the top of the fifth to complete the scoring. James ripped a two-run triple that brought Kelly and Tancini home. Czaczkowski followed with an RBI single that scored James and then
Jenna Patterson (Mullica Hill/Clearview) blasted a two-run homer for the final runs of the 10-2 victory.

Tramp pitched all five innings, allowing one earned run plus one unearned on three hits with six strikeouts for her second win of the day.

Stockton will host Rowan University, which is ranked 15th in the National Fastpitch Coaches Association poll, in an NJAC doubleheader on Tuesday at 2:30 p.m.
