Galloway, N.J. – Stockton University was ranked second in the
Mid-Atlantic Region by the NCAA in rankings released this afternoon. The Ospreys, who are one of three teams from the Mid-Atlantic Region who are eligible, were slotted behind St. Mary's (Md.) and ahead of Washington College (Md.).
In addition to the team rankings, the Stockton varsity eight was rated second coming off its gold medal at the Knecht Cup on Sunday.
At the Knecht Cup,
Lorelei Hendricks (Burlington/Doane Academy) was the coxswain for the varsity eight. The rowers were

The Stockton second varsity eight was ranked first in the Mid-Atlantic Region after qualifying for the final at the Knecht Cup under the direction of coxswain
Kelley Mason (Manhattan, N.Y./St. Vincent Ferrer).

Stockton, St. Mary's and Washington College are all members of the Mid-Atlantic Rowing Conference, and they will face off at the MARC Championships in Fairfax Station, Virginia on April 30. The Ospreys will tune up for the MARC Championships by rowing in the Upper Schuykill Challenge, which will be hosted by Bryn Mawr this Saturday, April 22.
