Union, N.J. – Stockton University (8-3, 1-1 NJAC) earned its first conference victory of the season by winning every match for a 9-0 shutout at Kean University (4-3, 0-3 NJAC).
In doubles,
Sarb Devi (Galloway/Absegami) and
Lily Muir (Robbinsville/Robbinsville) won 8-2 while
Audrey van Schalkwyk (Haddon Hts./Paul VI) and
Sophia Pasquale (Galloway/Holy Spirit) posted an 8-0 shutout and
Jenna Bryszewski (Westville/Gateway) and
Kierstyn Fenimore (Tabernacle/Seneca) triumphed 8-1.
Devi led the way in singles with a 6-0, 6-0 whitewash. Fenimore and Bryszewski each posted 6-0, 6-1 victories while Pasquale and van Schalkwyk cruised 6-1, 6-0. Muir notched a 6-1, 6-2 win for the Ospreys.
Stockton will host William Paterson in an NJAC match on Monday at 4 p.m.
