Galloway, N.J. – Stockton University graduate student 
Luc Swedlund (Randolph/Randolph) was named USILA All-America Honorable Mention by the 
United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association for the third straight year and fourth time in his career.
 
Swedlund who played four full seasons (2018-19, 2022-23) plus two COVID-shortened seasons (6 games in 2020, 9 games in 2021), became the first four-time USILA All-America honoree in the program's 37-year history. He was chosen USILA All-America Honorable Mention in 2019, 2021, 2022 and 2023.
 
In addition to the USILA All-America Honorable Mention award, Swedlund recently was selected along with teammate 
Dante Poli to play for the D3 South squad in the USILA Senior All-Star Game at Cabrini University on Friday at 4 p.m.
 
Swedlund ranks fifth in the nation in goals (75) and goals per game (4.17) for the 2023 season. The attack started all 18 contests and led the Ospreys in goals and points (88) while also contributing 13 assists and 43 ground balls. He topped the Coastal Lacrosse Conference in goals per game and placed fourth in points per game (4.89).
 
Swedlund finished his career with school records of 354 goals and 427 points in 90 games as an Osprey. He ranks third in NCAA Division III history in goals and sixth in points as well as tied for ninth in goals per game (3.93). Swedlund led the nation with 100 goals in 2019 and stands as one of just three Division III players ever to hit the century mark in a season.
 
Swedlund's four USILA All-America Honorable Mention accolades top a lengthy list of career honors. He was a two-time Inside Lacrosse Preseason All-America Honorable Mention (2022-23) as well as the 2023 Coastal Lacrosse Conference Scholar Athlete of the Year and 2019 Colonial States Athletic Conference Player of the Year.
 
Swedlund led Stockton to the CSAC championship and the second round of the NCAA Tournament twice (2019, 2022), winning the CSAC Championship MVP award both times. He also was selected CLC First Team this spring to go with CSAC First Team in 2019 and CSAC Second Team in 2021.
