Kerstin Axe (Milmont Park, Pa./Ridley) was voted to the NCAA Division III Academic All-America Women's At-Large Third Team, which is selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC). Axe, a member of the Stockton women's lacrosse team, graduated from Stockton in May with a perfect 4.0 grade point average as a marine science major.

Axe became Stockton's 19th Academic All-American. Her selection marked four straight years and seven of the last eight with at least one Academic All-American for Stockton.
The Academic All-America Teams are selected by college athletic communications professionals. The women's at-large category encompasses multiple sports including lacrosse, field hockey, gymnastics, golf and ice hockey.

Axe was voted NJAC Honorable Mention for her stellar defensive play while starting all 17 games this spring and helping Stockton to a 12-5 record for the program's highest win total since 2016 and just one victory shy of the school mark that was set that year (13 wins).

Axe contributed 29 ground balls, 14 caused turnovers and 14 draw controls while sparking the Ospreys to a 9.35 goals against average that was third in the NJAC. She later played in the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association Senior All-Star Game at USA Lacrosse headquarters in Sparks, Maryland on June 3.

Axe transferred to Stockton from St. Francis University (Pa.) and started all 34 games in her two years as an Osprey (2022-23). She totaled 49 ground balls, 16 caused turnovers and 14 draw controls while also providing strong defensive player and leadership that contributed to 21 wins in her two seasons at Stockton.

Axe spent her freshman and sophomore years at St. Francis prior to her arrival at Stockton. She played in 18 games with 13 starts, compiling nine ground balls, four caused turnovers and one draw control for the Red Flash.
