Overview
Stockton Softball produced a 19-19 overall record while facing the third toughest schedule in NCAA Division III (.642 opponents winning percentage). Stockton broke even record-wise with half of its games, 18 of 38, played against teams that made the NCAA Tournament, including 11 versus opponents that were ranked at the time of the game.

Head coach
Mavreen Hering led Stockton to the No. 4 seed for the NJAC Tournament with an 11-7 conference record. The Ospreys compiled a six-game winning streak in April and a five-game run of victories in March. The lineup was experienced, with five seniors and one junior, however all but 19 of the 253 innings were pitched by sophomores or freshmen.

Highlights
- Pitcher Nerina Tramp finished second in the NJAC and 26th in the nation in ERA (1.27) as well as third in the league in strikeouts (100), fourth in opposing batting average (.198), tied for fourth in wins (11) and sixth in innings pitched (115.1). Tramp struck out a career-high 11 batters against Immaculata on 3/20/23.
- Charli Czaczkowski collected her second straight all-conference honor after leading the Ospreys in batting (.361), hits (44) and on-base percentage (.391). The sophomore tied for the team lead and fifth in the NJAC in homers (4) while adding nine doubles and 21 RBI. Czaczkowski had a 15-game hitting streak and 12 multi-hit games, both team highs.
- Vanessa Tancini batted .341 (2nd on the team) with 11 steals to top the squad along with 31 hits and 15 runs. Tancini ended her career ninth in program history in batting average (.365) and steals (41) in 106 games in a Stockton uniform.
- Lilly James batted .315 and tied for the team lead and fifth in the NJAC in homers (4) while also finishing second on the team in hits (39), RBI (23) and runs (19). James ended her career third in program history in hits (154), tied for third in runs (94), fourth in RBI (97) and tied for fourth in doubles (33) and home runs (13).
- Jenna Patterson batted .314, led the team in slugging percentage (.543) and doubles (12) and tied for the team lead in homers (4) to go with 16 RBI. Patterson tied for fifth in the NJAC in homers and tied for 10th in doubles.
- Gabrielle Barranger topped the Ospreys with 23 runs scored and went a perfect 8-8 on stolen base attempts while hitting .286. Barranger also was second on the squad with a .370 on-base percentage.
- Kayla Posten led the team with 24 RBI and tied Megan Sears for the team lead in walks (10). Posten rapped seven doubles, one triple and two homers while Sears contributed six doubles and three homers.
- Sophomores Jenna Crampton and Nicole Smith complemented Tramp on the young pitching staff. Crampton threw 65.2 innings with 51 strikeouts, five wins and two NJAC weekly awards while Smith tossed 42.0 innings, won three times and recorded a team-high two saves.
- Michaela Luyber started 37 games at first base and tied for the NJAC lead in hit by pitch (10) while finishing sixth in putouts (229) and recording a .983 fielding percentage in a team-high 242 chances (7th in NJAC).
- Freshman Madison Manera played 30 games behind the plate, including 23 starts. Manera finished eighth in the conference with an impressive .992 fielding percentage, committing just one error in 125 chances during her rookie season.
