Overview
Stockton Women's Rowing competed eight times during 2022-23, twice in the fall and six times in the spring highlighted by the team's annual appearances at the Mid-Atlantic Rowing Conference Championships and Dad Vail Regatta. Stockton also hosted a regatta at the Brigantine Boat House for the second straight year.
Â
The program continued to flourish under the direction of first-year head coach
Chris O'Brien. The Ospreys narrowly missed winning their first MARC Championship by just one point but still equaled their best finish ever at the conference meet. Stockton also captured the Coach Stan Bergman Trophy as the top team at its home regatta in Brigantine.
Â
With just one senior on the roster, the young team was bolstered by the arrival of a large collection of newcomers. Four freshmen rowed in the varsity eight and five rookies made at least four appearances in the second varsity eight during the season.
