Madison, N.J. – Stockton University opened the 2022-23 season by competing in the Drew Doubles Invitational. Lily Muir (Robbinsville/Robbinsville) and Sophia Pasquale (Galloway/Holy Spirit) led the Ospreys by winning all four of their matches.
 
Muir and Pasquale started with a narrow 8-7 (9-7) win in a tiebreaker and then won their second match of the day 8-5. The duo then defeated a pair of doubles teams from Drew University by scores of 8-4 and 8-3 to finish with a perfect 4-0 record.
 
Stockton doubles teams played four other matches at the tournament, with Kierstyn Fenimore (Tabernacle/Seneca) and Rocio Lucero (West New York/Memorial) posting an 8-6 win in their only contest as a tandem.
 
The Ospreys will return to the courts in two weeks for a road match at Stevens that begins at noon on September 30.
