Ospreys of the Week
FIELD HOCKEY:
Makayla Alessi (Manahawkin/Southern Regional) scored her first career goal for the game-winner in a 1-0 victory over Moravian. Alessi's marker came on a penalty corner with 13:22 gone in the first quarter. Alessi also helped Stockton post its fourth shutout of the season with her defensive play.
WOMEN'S GOLF:
Elenora Byrne (Princeton Junction/West Windsor-Plainsboro North) led Stockton with a round of 89 that was second out of 10 golfers in the dual match against Drew University. Byrne, whose round was highlighted by three birdies, shot a 46 on the front nine and a 43 on the back in her first career match at Stockton.
MEN'S SOCCER:
Ernst Louisius (Asbury Park/Neptune) scored the game-winning goal in Stockton's 1-0 triumph over Haverford. Louisius pounced on a rebound and fired in his second tally of the season.
WOMEN'S SOCCER: Freshman
Kylee Reissek (Newfield/Delsea) netted her first career goal in the 72nd minute to break the scoreless deadlock and lift Stockton to a 1-0 victory against Rutgers-Newark in the NJAC opener. Reissek was chosen NJAC Rookie of the Week for the first time in her career.
VOLLEYBALL:
McKenna Ritchie (Newark, Del./Newark Charter School) topped the back row with a match-high 15 digs in Stockton's only match lasty week. For the season, the freshman is third in the NJAC in digs (3.96/set).

Women's Soccer (6-0-3)
- Latest Results: Stockton 1, Moravian 0; Stockton 1, Rutgers-Newark 0.
- Logan Shaw (Hainesport/Rancocas Valley) scored the game-winner just 4:45 into the match against Moravian. Grace Tecce (Jamison, Pa./Central Bucks South) dished the assist on the tally.
- Freshman Kylee Reissek (Newfield/Delsea) netted her first career goal in the 72nd minute to break the scoreless deadlock and lift Stockton to victory over Rutgers-Newark. Reissek was selected NJAC Rookie of the Week.
- Goalkeeper Morgan Keil (Upper Twp./Holy Spirit) made 11 saves and recorded two shutouts. The sophomore extended her personal shutout streak to 604:30 and was named NJAC Defensive Player of the Week for the third time this season. Keil has not allowed a goal this season and leads the league with six clean sheets.

Men's Soccer (4-0-3)

- Aiden Hoenisch (Bordentown/Notre Dame) netted his team-leading third goal of the season against Rutgers-Newark.
- Joseph Carbone (Pequannock/Pequannock) and Dawson Joseph (East Brunswick/East Brunswick) each dished one assist last week.
- Freshman goalkeeper Brady Bartletta (Hainesport/Rancocas Valley) made eight saves for the week and earned his third shutout of the year against Haverford.

- Alessi's marker came on a penalty corner with 13:22 gone in the first quarter and was assisted by Ameera Bilgrami (Voorhees/Eastern Regional).
- Stockton goaltender Hannah Ayari-Dias (North Caldwell/West Essex) made three saves for her third shutout of the season.

Volleyball (7-6)

- Kate Louer (Clifton/Clifton) and Nicole Palmer (East Islip, N.Y./East Islip) led Stockton with eight kills apiece.
- McKenna Ritchie (Newark, Del./Newark Charter School) topped the back row with a match-high 15 digs.
- Regan Mendick (Newark, Del./Red Lion Christian) dished 13 assists and scooped five digs while Jaylah Rolle (Williamstown/Williamstown) contributed six kills and two blocks.

Women's Golf

- Ella van Schalkwyk (Haddon Hts./Paul VI) finished third out of 10 with a 92 that was split into a 47 on the front and a 45 on the back. Van Schalkwyk started on a high note with a chip-in birdie at the first hole.
- Maggie Brennan (Spring Lake Hts./Manasquan) played her first round since last fall and shot a pair of 51's for a 102.
- Paula Handel (Little Egg Harbor/Pinelands) joined Byrne as the two Ospreys who were playing their first college round. Handel finished with a 134 on the day.
- Upcoming Games: October 1-2 at Arcadia Golden Oaks Shootout (12 pm).
