Galloway, NJ – Stockton University (2-0-1) earned their second win of the season with a convincing 5-1 victory over Drew University (1-2) on Wednesday afternoon.
Erica Dietz (Allentown, PA/Central Catholic) and
Logan Shaw (Woodstown/Woodstown) led the onslaught with a goal and assist each.

The match was played in extreme heat as both teams struggled to find an opening early on. At 23:52, after a corner kick by
Emily Hauck (Lebanon, PA/Northern Lebanon), Dietz found her way through a scrum in front and headed home her first goal of the season for a 1-0 lead.

Right before the half, the Ospreys struck again, this time on a beautiful play in front.
Sophia Drea (Medford/Shawnee) lofted a crossing pass to
ChiChi Wokocha (Galloway/Absegami). Her header found the upper left corner and pushed Stockton to a 2-0 lead. It was the sophomore's first career tally.

Stockton broke the match open in the final 45 minutes tallying twice in the 54th minute and again four minutes later. Shaw floated a goal from 40 yards out that hit the net, then
Katie Ambos (Cinnaminson/Cinnaminson) took a pass from Dietz to score her first career goal and a 4-0 advantage.

Kayla Rozanski (Woodbury/Woodbury) ended the Osprey scoring at 62:05 on a pass from Shaw for a 5-0 margin. The Rangers broke the shutout attempt in the 86th minute to set the final score at 5-1 in favor of the Ospreys.

Morgan Keil (Upper Twp./Holy Spirit) played the first 64:30, making one save and extending her scoreless streak to 244:30 to start the season.
Megan Brady (Rockaway/Morris Knolls) played the final 25:30 in relief in net.

Kat Kugler tallied the lone goal for the Rangers with Isabell Grof-Tisza providing the assist. Goalkeeper Sarah Crowley made three saves in net.

Stockton will travel to Drew University this weekend to play in the Drew Fall Festival in Madison, NJ. The Ospreys will take on New Paltz on Saturday at 1 pm, then will face off against the U.S Coast Guard Academy on Sunday in a 12 pm start.
