Galloway, N.J. – Stockton University (7-4-2, 2-1-1 NJAC) scored once in each half for a 2-0 conference victory at Rutgers-Camden (6-6-2, 1-3 NJAC). A pair of players each scored their first goal of the year, and the Ospreys recorded their seventh shutout of the season.
Kayla Rozanski (Woodbury/Woodbury) broke the scoreless deadlock with a shot from the right side that found the back left corner of the net with 2:04 remaining in the first half for the game-winner.
Sophomore
Bella Bednarz (Keyport/Keyport) pounced on a loose ball and sealed the win by scoring her first career goal with 11:26 left in the game. Stockton goalkeeper
Morgan Keil (Upper Twp./Holy Spirit) collected her fifth shutout of the season with two saves in the 2-0 triumph.
The Ospreys pressured throughout the first half, with five shots on goal and five corner kicks prior to Rozanski's tally. Keil needed just one save in each half for the shutout. Rutgers-Camden keeper Michaela Graham made seven saves in the match.
Stockton will be on the road again on Wednesday for an NJAC game at Rowan University that begins at 6:00 p.m.
