Galloway, NJ – Stockton University (6-0) continued their season opening unbeaten streak, with a 16-1 victory over Wilkes University (1-5) on Saturday afternoon.
Mary Meduri (Brigantine/OLMA) led the offense for the second straight game with four goals and added a pair of assists for six points.

Stockton ran away from the Colonels with a seven-goal barrage in the first period.
Mary McLaughlin (Somers Point/Mainland) scored all four of her markers in the frame, aided by
Brianna Robinson (Cape May Court House/Middle Twp.) with two goals.

The second frame was played evenly as both teams scored one goal, as Meduri garnered her first of the day for an 8-1 lead at the break. The Ospreys opened the goal scoring offensive again in the second half, tallying eight goals, while the defense did not allow a score for the 16-1 rout.

Robinson scored a career-high three goals and added one helper for a career-best three points in the game, with two ground balls and two caused turnovers. Meduri chipped in defensively with four ground balls and three caused turnovers.

Stockton will take a two-game trip to Virginian Beach, VA next Thursday and Friday, as the Ospreys will face Virginia Wesleyan on Thursday at 2pm. Stockton then will face Sewanee on Friday morning at 11 am.
