Cherry Hill, N.J. – Stockton University rowed in four races at the Knecht Cup on the Cooper River. Normally a two-day regatta, this year's event was condensed to one day due to strong winds on Saturday.
The Stockton varsity eight competed in the Women's Club Eight DI/II race, finishing second in their heat of four with a time of 7:39.91 that was second out of eight boats in two heats of the bracket.
Lorie Hendricks (Burlington/Doane Academy) was the coxswain for the varsity eight.

The Osprey second varsity eight placed sixth in their heat of the Women's Varsity Eight DIII with a time of 8:02.34 that was eighth out of 10 in two heats overall.
Kelley Mason (Manhattan/St. Vincent Ferrer) was the coxswain for the second varsity eight.

In addition to the eights, Stockton finished fourth in their heat and seventh out of 10 overall in the Women's Frosh/Novice Four at 8:57.96 and fourth in their heat as well as sixth overall in the Women's Varsity Four with a time of 9:46.98. Mason was the coxswain for the varsity four and
Emma Dyrsten (Sparta/Sparta) was the coxswain for the novice four.

Jordan Barikian (Cape May/Lower Cape May) and
Maria Fazio (Grand Rapids, Mich./Forrest Hills Northern) rowed in the varsity four. Fazio, Hartshaw, Deschenes and Seitz competed in the novice four.
In two weeks, Stockton will row in the Mid-Atlantic Rowing Conference Championships at Lake Mercer in West Windsor, N.J. on April 28.
