WOMEN'S TRACK & FIELD: Kayla Kass (Bayonne/Bayonne) finished ninth out of 22 runners in the prelims of the 800m run at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships. Kass ran a time of 2:10.92 and qualified as a Second Team All-American. She finished third in her heat of eight runners and missed earning a spot in the final by just three tenths of a second.

• Michaela Pomatto (Egg Harbor Twp./EHT) finished 11th out of 22 in the discus to earn a Second Team All-American spot. Pomatto, who entered the NCAA Championships ranked 11th, registered a top throw of 43.38 meters on the second of her three attempts. By finishing between ninth and 16th, she qualified for Second Team All-American status.
• Emma Petrolia (New Milford/New Milford) placed 18th in the prelims of the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:04.32. The sophomore finished sixth in her heat plus 18th overall. Petrolia entered the NCAA Championships ranked 12th in the nation.
