Cleveland, OH – Stockton University (1-3-2) had two goals scored against them in the last 17 minutes and fell to Case Western Reserve (3-2-0) by a 3-2 score on Sunday afternoon. It was the second game of the Cleveland Classic for the Ospreys.

Stockton opened the scoring at 24:58 of the first half when
Nico Calambas (Galloway/Absegami) tallied his first career goal on an assist by
Aidan Pereira (Spotswood/Spotswood). The 1-0 lead would hold through the rest of the half for the Ospreys.

The Spartans would tie the game at 1-1 in the 63rd minute on a penalty kick, before
Ernst Louisius (Asbury Park/Neptune) scored his third marker of the year at 73:06 to give Stockton a 2-1 margin.
Antonio Matos (Hammonton/St. Augustine Prep) assisted on the goal.

CWRU knotted the game just 36 seconds later setting up the final tense moments. Another penalty kick resulted in the game winner at 84:58 and allowed the Spartans to run out the clock in the 3-2 victory.

Brady Bartletta (Hainesport/Rancocas Valley) took the loss playing the first 77:40 in net, without making a save, before giving way to freshman
Ismael Kone (Harrison/Harrison) who saw his first action in his collegiate career. Kone made one save in his debut playing the final 12:20.

After starting the season playing five of their first six matches on the road, Stockton will return to G. Larry James Stadium on Wednesday evening to face Penn State Abington. Game time is scheduled for 7:30 pm.
