Madison, N.J. – Stockton University (1-2-1) began its two-game stint at the Drew University Fall Festival with a 2-0 setback to New Paltz (2-0-1). Goalkeeper Morgan Keil (Upper Twp./Holy Spirit) made six saves for the Ospreys.
 
Stockton was outdone 15-9 in shot attempts and 9-5 in shots on goal. Erica Dietz (Allentown, Pa./Central Catholic) topped the Ospreys with two shots on goal. Kylee Reissek (Newfield/Delsea) registered two shots, one of which banged off the crossbar in the 83rd minute.
 
New Paltz's Rachel Eisert got on the board in the 25th minute and Gaby Treble tacked on a penalty kick goal in the 71st minute for the 2-0 final. Hawks' goalie Maddie Franklin kept the Ospreys off the scoreboard with five saves.
 
The Drew Fall Festival continues tomorrow with Stockton facing King's College (Pa.) at 1:30 p.m.
