Ospreys of the Week: October 6-12, 2025

Men's Soccer
Ernst Louisius (Asbury Park/Neptune) scored two goals against Rutgers-Camden, helping Stockton remain unbeaten in NJAC play. His eight markers on the season leads the team and stands third in the league.
 
Uche Wokocha (Galloway/St. Augustine Prep) scored one goal and dished two assists for four points in the two games last week. Wokocha currently has a four-game point streak as well as points in five of his last six matches.
 
Women's Soccer
Logan Shaw (Hainesport/Rancocas Valley) scored one of Stockton's two goals last week. Shaw's team-leading seventh goal of the season came on a penalty kick against Eastern that snapped a 1-1 tie with 7:14 remaining and turned out to be the game-winning tally.
 
Makayla Jaffe (Middletown/Middletown South) scored her fourth goal of the season on a 30-yard blast into the right upper 90 against Eastern in a 2-1 win. Jaffe then registered a game-high seven shots against Rutgers-Camden.
 
Volleyball
Laila Newborn (Lower Merion, Pa./Lower Merion) was named NJAC Defensive Player of the Week for her first career weekly award after she led the team with 15 blocks in two matches last week, including a career-high eight stuffs against Drew. Newborn also contributed two kills, two aces and three digs last week. She leads the NJAC in blocks per set (1.00 b/s).
 
Nicole Palmer (Islip Terrace, N.Y./East Islip) was named NJAC Player of the Week for the first time this season and sixth in her career. Palmer showed her versatility last week she led the team with a .367 hitting percentage and 17 dig, while finishing second with 26 kills, five aces and seven blocks. Against Kean, she registered her fourth double-double of the season with 15 kills and 12 digs.
 
Field Hockey
Kirsten Bailey (Burlington/Burlington Twp.) scored a pair of goals against Rowan, then dished two assists in a 4-1 win against Montclair State for a total of six points on the week. Bailey brought her career totals to 38 goals and 87 points, both of which are second in Stockton history.
 
Makayla Alessi (Manahawkin/Southern Regional) scored twice from her defensive position, netting one goal on a penalty corner in each game last week. Her second tally gave her five markers on the season, tying her career high from 2023.
