Stockton Records Third Consecutive Shutout in 0-0 Tie

Montclair, N.J. – Stockton University (10-4-4 5-1-2 NJAC) recorded its third consecutive shutout in a 0-0 tie at 18th-ranked Montclair State (12-1-4, 5-1-2 NJAC). The game was a showdown between Osprey and Red Hawk teams that are tied for first in the conference.
 
Stockton goalkeeper Kyle Birmingham (Mt. Olive/Mt. Olive) made a career-high seven saves and extended his shutout streak to 272 minutes.
 
William Lynch (Bensalem, Pa./Notre Dame) was credited with two of Stockton's four shot attempts, including the team's only shot on goal.
 
The Ospreys still have a chance to win the NJAC regular season title pending the outcome of conference games on Wednesday, a slate that includes Stockton's home match versus Kean University at 7:00 p.m.
