Union, N.J. – Stockton University (4-1, 1-0 NJAC) used a balanced attack to defeat Kean University (0-5, 0-1 NJAC) 61-52 in the first conference game of the season. Eleven Ospreys scored points in the victory, and Stockton led for 38:56 of the 40 minutes in the game.
Zemirah Enalls (Barnegat/Barnegat) returned to the lineup after missing two games due to injury and picked up right where she left off by totaling a game-high 15 points and nine rebounds. Enalls made her first five shots and finished 7-8 (87.5%) from the field.

Bre Evans (Neptune/Neptune) also hit double figures with 11 points.
Lauren Winant (Middletown/Middletown South) tossed in eight markers followed by
Grace Speer (Estell Manor/ACIT) with seven points.
Haleigh Schafer (Egg Harbor City/Absegami) tied Enalls for game high with nine rebounds and Speer added seven boards as Stockton outdid Kean 40-33 on the glass.
Evans scored a team-high five points to spark the Ospreys to a 17-9 lead in the first quarter. Stockton boosted the lead to 15 points on a Speer free throw in the second period before taking a 31-18 lead to the locker room at halftime.
The Ospreys maintained a double-digit lead for nearly the entire second half, with the advantage peaking at 19 points, 59-40, on a three-pointer by Evans with 3:32 left in the game. Only a late Kean basket with 17 seconds on the clock reduced the margin under 10 in the 61-52 Stockton triumph.
Dacia Mack and Erika Mercedes paced Kean with 12 and 11 points respectively.
Stockton's next game will be at home against The College of New Jersey next Wednesday, December 3 at 5:30 p.m.
