Galloway, N.J. - Stockton University (1-1) was within one goal of Haverford (2-0) midway through the second quarter before a five-goal run by the visitors proved to be the difference in a 12-7 setback. The Fords were an NCAA Tournament team last season.

Meghan Pellegrino (Somers Point/Mainland) tallied a career-high three caused turnovers and became the program's career leader with 91 caused turnovers. Pellegrino also scooped three ground balls, adding to her school-record total in that category as well.

Isabella Marinello (West Caldwell/Caldwell) led the Ospreys with two goals and an assist for three points.
Madison MacGillivray (Forked River/Lacey Twp.) netted two goals in the game.

Haverford broke out to a 4-0 lead in the first 5:02, but the Ospreys settled down and rallied. Two goals by MacGillivray and one apiece by Marinello,
Julia Gibson (Cape May Point/Lower Cape May) and
Ashley Pringle (Barnegat/Barnegat) pulled Stockton within 6-5 with 7:39 left in the second quarter.

The comeback fizzled as the Ospreys went scoreless for the next 28:16 of game action. Haverford reeled off five unanswered goals before Marinello ended the run to make it 11-6 with 9:22 remaining in the game.

Caroline Mueller (Pittstown/North Hunterdon) tossed in her first career goal later in the period, but Stockton fell 12-7.

Jordan Czaczkowski (Jackson/Jackson Memorial) finished with five saves in 56:23 of game action while her counterpart Annie Bravacos made four stops for Haverford. Brooke Epstein paced the Fords with three goals, one assist and eight draw controls.
