Galloway, N.J. – Three Stockton University student-athletes were selected for NJAC weekly honors for the week of March 10-16. In women's lacrosse, Gina Marotta (Montville/Montville) was named NJAC Defensive Player of the Week for the second straight time and Isabella Marinello (Caldwell/James Caldwell) was chosen NJAC Offensive Player of the Week.

Freshman Joseph Loreti (Hamilton/Steinert) was tabbed NJAC Rookie Pitcher of the Week for baseball. Marinello and Loreti collected NJAC weekly honors for the first time in their careers.

For the season, Loreti has a 1.23 ERA and .091 opposing batting average in 7.1 innings pitched.

Marinello led the Ospreys with 15 goals and five assists for 20 points in three wins last week. The senior set school records with eight goals and 10 points in a 21-3 rout of Drew on March 12 and became the seventh player in program history to reach 100 career points.

Marinello currently is tied for fifth in the NJAC in assists per game (1.71) and sits sixth in points per game (4.71) and eighth in goals per game (3.00).

Marotta continued her outstanding season on defense as she led Stockton with 20 draw controls and 12 ground balls and finished second on the team with six caused turnovers. The junior set school records with 10 ground balls against Marywood on March 10 and 13 draw controls versus Drew on March 12. Marotta added a career-high five caused turnovers against Marywood as well.

For the season, Marotta ranks fifth in the NJAC in ground balls per game (3.14) and sixth in draw controls per game (4.00).
