Brigantine, N.J. - Stockton University hosted Jefferson, Washington College, Pacific Lutheran, Catholic and Franklin & Marshall in the Battle at Brigantine on Saturday. The Ospreys rowed in the varsity eight and second varsity eight events.

The varsity eight finished second in their heat with a time of 6:47.16 that was less than a second behind fellow MARC team Washington College. The Ospreys later rowed a time of 8:28.6 in the grand final, finishing fourth.

The Ospreys won their first heat, which included Jefferson, Washington College and Pacific Lutheran, with a time of 6:54.88 that was six seconds ahead of runner-up Jefferson. In the grand final, Stockton finished in 8:23.2 and was defeated Jefferson in a dual race.

Next weekend, Stockton will travel to Saratoga Springs, N.Y. for the Skidmore College Sprints on April 5.
