Galloway, N.J. – Stockton University sophomore goalkeeper
Ben Blum (Mt. Laurel/Lenape) was named to the USILA D3 Team of the Week by the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association for his performance in Stockton's CLC Tournament game on April 27.
Blum made 18 saves, one off his career high, to backstop Stockton to a 12-11 victory over Mary Washington in overtime. The goalie recorded a .621 save percentage and scooped five ground balls in the win. Blum made one save in sudden-death overtime, and the Ospreys scored the game-winning goal on the ensuing possession to prevail 12-11.
For the season, Blum started all 19 games and reached double figures in saves 17 times. He led the Coastal Lacrosse Conference in minutes played (1,050) and total saves (258) and finished second in the league in saves per game (13.58) plus third in save percentage (.536).
