Scranton, Pa. – Stockton University (3-2-2) fell short 2-0 to Marywood University (4-1) on the road Saturday. Two goals by the home team in the last 30 minutes were the difference.
Stockton's
Morgan Keil (Upper Twp./Holy Spirit) was able to grab three saves against a persistent Marywood's offense, who had seven shots.
Stockton's offense had multiple chances, with nine total shots, two being on goal, as well as nine corner kicks, however they weren't able to find the goal.
Makayla Jaffe (Middletown/Middletown South) registered six shots for the Ospreys.
Marywood's Carly Walters opened scoring in the 61st minute, assisted by Caroline Walters. She was quickly joined another four minutes later, as Riley Bittenbender found the back of the net to extend the lead.
Stockton will try to bounce back Wednesday at 7:00 p.m., away at Moravian University.
