Washington, DC – Stockton University (4-2-2) played to a tie for the second straight match, as the Ospreys drew with Catholic University (3-0-3) 1-1 on Saturday afternoon.
Ernst Louisius (Asbury Park/Neptune) continued his hot start to the season with the lone goal for Stockton and his fourth straight game with a marker.

The Cardinals opened the scoring with a goal 11:26 into the game, as Ben Zimmer hit the high right corner for the 1-0 lead. It would be the only goal of the first half.

Louisius knotted the match with his sixth goal of the season, just 2:46 into the second stanza to make it 1-1. Stockton had a pair of opportunities late in the game as
Dawson Joseph (East Brunswick/East Brunswick) in the 75th minute and
Joseph Carbone (East Brunswick/East Brunswick) in the 87th minute fired volleys, but each were turned away.

Brady Bartletta (Hainesport/Rancocas Valley) made two saves in net, while Owen Allegro made five saves for the Cardinals.

Stockton will return home to face Washington College (MD) on Tuesday for their next match. Game time is set for 7pm at G. Larry James Stadium in Galloway.
