Wayne, NJ – Stockton University (5-2-3, 0-0-1 NJAC) used a strong defense to fend off William Paterson University (4-3-2, 0-0-1 NJAC) playing to a scoreless draw on Saturday afternoon. Brady Bartletta (Hainesport/Rancocas Valley) posted his second shutout of the season and 15th in his career. It was the NJAC season opener for both teams.
 
After being outshot by the Pioneers 6-0 in the first half, Stockton rebounded in the final frame with four shots on net, two by Uche Wokocha (Galloway/ St. Augustine).
 
Aiden Hoenisch (Bordentown/Notre Dame) and Kieran Sundermann (Little Egg Harbor/Pinelands) had the other two attempts for the Ospreys in the game.
 
Bartletta made five saves on the day, with Luca Misko stopping all four Osprey shots on net for the Pioneers. The draw extended the Ospreys unbeaten run to four straight matches.
 
Stockton will return home for their next match, when the Ospreys face The College of New Jersey on Wednesday night. Game time is scheduled for 7 pm.
